Chef Bonner

A little info about our Chef for events at Chris H. Olsen's home

Executive Chef Bonner Cameron
Executive Chef Bonner Cameron's passion for cooking began with the fond memories of grilling and smoking meats with his father. Those memories inspired him to enroll in culinary school where he earned his degree at the Arts Institute of Houston. He immediately began to work with well known Chefs in Houston hotspots such as Zula, Masraff's, and Trevisio. Chef Cameron was recognized as Up and Coming Chef in Houston's MyTable Magazine in 2008, and also featured in Nation's Restaurant News.
In the spring of 2011, Bonner moved to Little Rock where he began making a name for himself not only at Ya Ya's Eurobistro, but the community as well. He was a finalist in Pulaski Techs Diamond Chef Competition which raised money for the local culinary program. He also supported nonprofit organizations in the area, including the St. Vincent Foundation IV Party, the opening of St. Vincent Health West, and Arkansas Children's Hospital.
In 2013, Chef Cameron decided to open an elite catering company along with his partner Crystal Dear called Bistro Catering. "Our vision is to create impeccable food of the highest quality." "We want people to have a memorable experience at every Bistro Catering event that you cannot find anywhere else in Arkansas"!

REVIEWS

Our evening at Chris's humble abode was magical. What a setting and what over-the-top gracious hospitality!!!!!!!We did a lot of memorable things on our Arkansas visit, including stunning Crystal Bridges but all any one could talk about was our evening with "you all". From the time we pulled up to the house and you could hear people saying, "What the WHAT", to the very end when we had to pull people away, everything was perfection. Hopefully, you will have us again ----maybe even for the big Halloween bash.

Thank you for your help in putting together such a terrific evening and thank you for my lovely gifts. I wanted to write to Chris as well but I do not have his e-mail address. So please make sure that you pass this on to him.

Warm regards,
Susan
